US Firearms Training Academy provides professional firearms training in Colorado with certified and law-enforcement-verified firearms instructors. We offer Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) New and Renewal Classes, Basic Pistol 101, Basic Rifle Courses, Security Guard Training, and Court-Ordered Gun Classes. Our training focuses on Colorado firearm laws, firearm safety, responsible gun ownership, and practical shooting skills.
We also offer the required Colorado Firearm Safety Course for individuals purchasing Specified Semiautomatic Firearms (SSF) under SB 25-003. Our 4-hour and 12-hour Firearm Safety Courses meet Colorado requirements for obtaining a Firearms Safety Course Eligibility Card (FSCEC).

Colorado Firearms Safety Course Eligibility Card (FSCEC) | SB 25-003
Beginning August 1, 2026, Colorado law requires qualifying purchasers of Specified Semiautomatic Firearms (SSF) to complete an approved Colorado Firearms Safety Course under SB 25-003. US Firearms Training Academy offers both the 4-hour Basic Firearms Safety Course and 12-hour Extended Firearms Safety Course required for qualifying firearm purchases. Students must obtain a Firearms Safety Course Eligibility Card (FSCEC) before taking the course.
Our Colorado Firearms Safety Courses cover firearm safety, secure storage, Colorado firearm laws, and responsible firearm handling while meeting the training requirements established under SB 25-003.
