- Live Firearm Training: Shoot Indoors

- NRA First Steps Rifle or equivalent (or instructor approval)
Class Size:
- Limited to 8 students to ensure individual coaching and safety

Course Content
- Firearm Safety
In-depth instruction on the NRA rules of firearm safety, safe rifle handling, loading and unloading procedures, ammunition management, transportation, and secure storage. - Rifle Types and Parts
Overview of common rifle actions (bolt-action, semi-automatic, lever-action), major components, and how rifles function. - Ammunition
Education on rifle ammunition components, calibers, selection, and safe handling practices. - Fundamentals of Rifle Shooting
Proper stance, grip, sight alignment, sight picture, breathing, trigger control, and follow-through, with structured dry-fire and live-fire instruction. - Marksmanship
Application of fundamentals to achieve consistent accuracy, with instructor feedback and corrective coaching. - Maintenance and Cleaning
Safe disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, and reassembly procedures to maintain reliability and longevity. - Legal and Ethical Considerations
Discussion of lawful rifle ownership, safe use, and ethical responsibilities of firearm owners.
Certification
Upon successful completion, students receive an NRA Basic Rifle Course certificate, recognizing their training in safe and responsible rifle handling.
